Handmade black spider sculpture with a moss made of air clay.  It`s handmade OOAK Fantasy sculpture.

I love going for walks with my dog Ellie in the morning, especially when the air is crisp and the world is still shrouded in mist. Fog so thick that morning I could barely see Ellie's wagging tail. Perfect weather for a walk, though. You know, that quiet kind that makes you hear your own heartbeat. Ellie, bless her furry soul, doesn't care much for the scenery. Sniff, sniff, gotta conquer every lamppost, right? Ellie's nose twitching with excitement as he takes in all the new scents of the day. I as always follow behind and enjoying the feeling of the sun on my face and the occasional chirp from a bird.

As I walked, I noticed a spider's web strung between two branches, glistening with dewdrops. The sun was just beginning to rise, and its rays were catching the dewdrops, making them sparkle like tiny diamonds. It's a sight that never fails to amaze me!  It's a nudge to slow down, appreciate the fog-kissed park, and the tiny diamonds hiding in plain sight.

I decided that I wanted to try to capture this feelings in a sculpture. The creature itself might seem unassuming: withered grass, cobwebs clinging on, and a few glistening dewdrops. BBut for me, it's like a whole foggy morning captured in one place. It evokes the clean air that fills your lungs, the scent of damp earth rising from the ground, and the silence. Just perfect foggy morning. It's kinda weird. You get it, don't you?

MATERIAL

• I use different types of clay, depending on the details and ideas.
• Floristic clay - does not require firing, hardens in air, after drying it becomes plastic, flexible and light. 
• Air clay is almost the same properties after drying as a floristic clay. But much lighter, less plastic and has a velvet surface.
• Both types of clay are not toxic and very popular among many famous artists for creating sculptures, jewelry and decorative items. Also used for children's creativity. 
• Each sculpture use metal wire frame, which makes it  durable for transport.
